Sowing Seeds Together: UUFC Event Recap

Following a service led by president Rev. Rosemary Bray McNatt on Sunday, March 24th, SKSM held a “Sowing Seeds Together” gathering at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Corvallis. At this event, Rosemary and Starr King VP for Advancement, Jessica Cloud, gathered with new friends from the Corvallis congregation to share more about the latest happenings at the school and to watch our new Sowing Seeds Campaign video.

Rosemary was introduced by Rev. Jill K. McAllister and Jessica Cloud rounded out our program. The event brought in many new donors for Starr King! At the event, we did a drawing to give away books by Starr King faculty and three lucky congregants won those books. Linda Zittel went home with Unafraid of the Dark by Rosemary Bray McNatt (signed), Sheryl Stuart won a copy of Soul Repair: Recovering from Moral Injury after War by Rita Nakashima Brock and Gabriella Lettini, and Tom Gabe went home with a copy of With Vision and Courage: Starr King School for the Ministry The History of its First Hundred Years by Arliss Ungar.
