What do you like about teaching at Starr King?

“The students make teaching at Starr King School for the Ministry stimulating and inspiring. Most of the students in the courses I teach are preparing for Unitarian Universalist ministry. I’m moved by their passion, creativity, wide range of perspectives and life experiences, and their commitment to our faith tradition. It makes me excited for the future of our religious movement! I learn from my students in every course I teach, which keeps me engaged and growing as a scholar and religious leader. I also appreciate the collaboration with the other faculty as we continually improve how we live into the school’s mission as well as the support I receive from the Dean of the Faculty and the administration for my development as a counter-oppressive and interdisciplinary scholar and educator.” – Rev. Dr. Sheri Prud’homme
