General Assembly 2011: Visit Starr King Booth 926

Meet and Greet with Provost Ibrahim Farajaje and President Rebecca Parker

We are excited about participating in the 50th Anniversary General Assembly in North Carolina next week to celebrate the consolidation of Unitarians and Universalists. During this time of reflecting, planning, and fellowshipping, we urge you to visit us at Booth 926 in the Charlotte Convention Center.

Perhaps you are encouraging someone towards a Master of Divinity and Unitarian Universalist ministry?  Come by and tell us about them. If they are at GA, bring them by and introduce them to us!

Maybe you are interested in furthering your own theological education, as a lay leader, and yearn to learn more about our Master of Arts in Religious Leadership for Social Change degree; meet the director of the program at the booth early Thursday afternoon.

You may have considered taking classes for your personal or professional development.  Our 100%-online Certificates in Unitarian Universalist Studies and Multi-Religious Studies could meet that need, as well as our intensive, immersion, and other learning opportunities.

Booth 926: Warm and Colorful

We create a warm, colorful, and welcoming environment at our booth; it is a hub for grads, students, trustees, former trustees, prospective students, donors and others who, like you, love all things Starr King.  It’s also a great place to network, to catch up with folk, or to simply rest your feet and hang out.  “Mi casa es su casa,” while visiting the Exhibitors Hall, so feel free to claim our booth as your own.

Booth 926 Events:  Meet-and-Greet

We are participating in a number of GA events, lectures, and related activities.  Don’t miss your opportunity to engage one-on-one with four Starr King VIPs who are presenting during the Assembly, while enjoying light refreshments:

    • 4:00 – 5:00, Wed. 6/22
  • Featured President’s Lecturer and Director of the M.A. in Religious Leadership for Social Change Degree Program Dr. Gabriella Lettini:
    • 12:30 – 1:30, Thurs., 6/23
  • SKSM President Dr. Rebecca Parker:
    • 3:00 – 4:00, Sat., 6/25
  • SKSM Board Chair and Media Professional Helio Fred Garcia:

If you prefer a more formal booth role, we welcome it!  Email and let Crystal Weston, who is managing the booth, know the days and times (30-minute slots or longer) you are available.  Your mission, should you accept it?  Greet guests with a smile, a warm heart, and a willingness to share your Starr King experience with those who want to hear it.
