Commencement 2025 Recap

On Thursday, May 8, the Starr King community gathered at the First Unitarian Universalist Society of San Francisco for the Commencement of the 120th academic year where we celebrated and honored the newest cohort of Starr King graduates.

During the ceremony, our beloved president, the Rev. Rosemary Bray McNatt, was bestowed the title of President Emerita of Starr King School for the Ministry as she prepares to retire at the end of June.

Various members of the community provided rituals, music, and blessings for the graduates. Many of the graduates took the opportunity to speak, offering vision and hope.
