Dr. Tuli Patel

Biography

Dr. Tuli Patel (Phd) has been an Unitarian Universalist since her first weekend in America in 1988. Over time she has worshipped at and participated in programs at Unity Temple in Oak Park, IL., First Church in Belmont, MA., Eliot Chapel in Kirkwood, MO and Beacon UU in Summit, NJ where she has been on staff since 2004. Starting as DRE, Tuli grew a program of children and moved into the role of Executive Director in 2014. Currently she is both ED and the lead for children and youth programs. In her spare time Tuli loves to read, meditate, cook and travel. Tuli has a MA in education from Tufts University and a doctorate in education from UCLA. She is passionate about institutions which center learning and growing.
