Eric J. Harvey is a multi-disciplinary scholar of the Hebrew Bible and its world. He earned his Ph.D. in Bible and the Ancient Near East from Brandeis University in 2020 and has since been a postdoctoral fellow at Stanford University and a fellow of the American Council of Learned Societies. He is also co-project lead of the NEH-funded Braille in Ancient Studies project at Stanford University. He researches the transmission history of the book of Psalms, disability in biblical and ancient Middle Eastern texts, and the political economy of ancient religious practice and rhetoric.
