What Does It Spiritually Mean to Say I Know Who I Am?
To be on a human spiritual journey is to live in paradox. For example, we are invited to live fully, to live with gusto and gratitude knowing that tomorrow is promised to know one. To be human is to live with existential questions like, what is death, what happens after death, is there a God?
November’s Glimpses invites us to contemplate and sense into 3 existential questions. Tuesday, November 9 we will meditate on What is the meaning (essence) of existence. Tuesday, November 16 we will be with Who am I and what is my true nature. Tuesday, November 23, our final session for November we will spiritually gaze at What keeps us from being our best/true self.
“Glimpses of THAT Which Holds All” is a weekly opportunity to SLOW down, to catch glimpses of your divine being and to catch “Glimpses of THAT Which Holds ALL.”
When does Glimpses happen? We gather each Tuesday on Zoom except for the first Tuesday of every month when Starr King for the Ministry hosts Tuesday Chapel from 10:50 to 11:45. Everyone… seminarians, alum, community members, family members and allies are warmly invited to drop in. Please believe that you are welcome to drop in at any time during the 45 minutes that we are together.
Our learning and spiritual theme for November and December is identity. This month, through quiet meditation in stillness and movement we will summon holy curiosity to guide us to a deeper knowing around 3 existential questions. Please join in so that our combined curiosities’ will empower our shared learnings.
PLEASE NOTE, we will not meet Tuesday, November 30th.
