Date/Time
Date(s) - 09/05/2023
11:00 am - 12:00 pm

Description

Beloveds, those curious about seminary, new and returning seminarians, alumni, friends, members of the board of trustees, staff, and faculty, and allies of Starr King School for the Ministry (SKSM) – please join us on Zoom for our first Chapel service of this academic year. The theme is “Welcome and Radical Inclusion.” Our service/ritual leaders are SKSM faculty, staff, and members of the student body leadership team. We will be streaming from the First Unitarian Church of Oakland which will allow us to be blessed by the smooth and powerful voices of the “Persisters.”

Our first Chapel service/ritual follows on the heels of this year’s Symposium: Bearing Grief & Breathing Liberation. Let us continue to ground ourselves in the blessings of a spiritual community that is welcoming, radically inclusive, and anti-oppressive. Please invite your neighbors, friends, and family – all are welcome!
