Highlights: Fall 2019 Orientation

Starr King School for the Ministry welcomed 15 new students to the school during Fall Orientation August 16-17, 2019. They were greeted by current students, faculty, and staff in the traditional Threshold Ceremony and Vespers Service on Friday evening. A community dinner followed the service.

On Saturday, our new students spent their time engaging with SKSM leadership about our mission, commitment to educating to counter oppressions, building community, and more. They took a tour of Holy Hill with the Dean of Students, Rev. Dr. Chris Schelin and rounded out Orientation with a closing ceremony & anointing in the Round Chapel. We are overjoyed to welcome this newest group to Starr King!
