This ceremonial course focuses on connecting with ancestral guidance and blessing and on steeping in teachings of Shaykh Dr. Ibrahim Baba Farajajé. Our week-long journey weaves multi-modal learning with energetic attunements, guided journeys and ritual practice.

Students will come to understand myriad categories of ancestors and explore creative and embodied ways of connecting with their blessings. Students will immerse in teachings and transmissions from Ibrahim Baba on organic multi-religiousity and counter-oppressive devotion as a direct experience of cultivating luminous ancestral connection.

This synchronous online course is shaped as ceremony – our learning will be a dynamic and emergent combination of didactic and experiential, including conceptual exploration, discussion, divination, ritual craft and embodied practice. For MDiv and MASC.
