Biography

Robin Swails-Thompson (Any Pronouns) is a community minister focus on justice, liberation, and building solidarity between marginalized identities. Robin graduated from Purdue University as a triple major in Sociology, Religion, and Gender and Sexuality Studies, and was awarded the honor of Outstanding Student in Religious Studies at graduation. After graduation, Robin served as Youth Coordinator in a Unitarian Universalist congregation before attending Starr King, focusing on talking to middle and high school students about global religions and social justice. While at Starr King, Robin has served as an intern at the Center for Interfaith Cooperation, National Alliance on Mental Illness, and was Starr King Student Body President. Robin now serves as Resource Coordinator at the Damien Center in Indianapolis. Her role primarily focuses on social support groups for various communities, including trans, non-binary, intersex, polyamorous, non-monogamous, HIV+, sober, and recovering people.
