Join us in welcoming the newest incoming class to Starr King School for the Ministry at our traditional Threshold Ceremony and Vespers Service.
We have ten incoming students – 1 Master of Arts in Social Change, 8 Master of Divinity, and 1 Joint MDiv/MASC. Event music will include “There is a Love” performed by Taya Mâ and written by Rev. Dr. Rebecca Parker and Elizabeth Norton; “Will You Join Me On This Journey” performed by Li Kynvi and written by Judy Fjell; and “Where You Go I Will Go” performed by Taya Mâ and written by Shoshana Jedwab.
Other rituals include ECO readings, land acknowledgements, our traditional chalice and red & white candle lighting, and bestowing gifts of welcome.
