November Chapel: “On Purpose”

Are you curious about the word purpose? Are you by chance curious or questioning your purpose(s)? Please join Starr King students Jeannette Bessinger, Erica Cunningham, Shannon Pullen, Helen Rose, and Cardona Yepiz as they gently unpack some aspect of “purpose.” The title of the November service is “On Purpose.”
Yes, there will be awesome music, poetry, and an opportunity for you to reflect on “purpose.” Erica Cunningham will facilitate a stew ritual. You are invited to bring an item for our stew. Chapel falls on the Day of the Dead. You may want to have a picture(s) of your beloved dead. Your item for the stew and your pictures will be with you wherever you are.
Local folk (East Bay), you are welcome to attend Chapel at our new location, 414 13th Street Oakland (downtown – close to 12t St. BART Station). We ask that you are up to date with your COVID vaccinations/boosters and willing to wear a mask inside the building. Hope to be with you virtual or live.
