Join us for Symposium on 8/30

This year’s Symposium is titled “Our Songs Know Who We Are” and together we will practice building a vocal community through exercises of the African American oral tradition, led by Our Honored Teacher Dr. Ysaye M. Barnwell. Former member of the African American female a cappella ensemble Sweet Honey in the Rock, Dr. Barnwell’s credentials include being nominated by President Obama to the National Council on the Arts.
