Vice President of Finance & Administration
Kelley Gibbs has more than 30 years of financial and management experience in the for- and non-profit realms. Born and raised in the Philippines, he has been the owner/operator of a small gold mine in Nevada; helped develop the first 18-hole golf course in Russia; worked in Silicon Valley start-ups; and worked as a financial consultant to many non-profits. He has taught business at the community college level as well.
He holds undergraduate degrees in Geology from The Colorado College and in Accounting from Menlo School of Business,as well as an MBA from the Thunderbird Graduate School of International Management. He is a licensed CPA and professional fiduciary.
Kelley volunteers with a number of Bay Area non-profits, both as the financial officer and as a board member. He lives in Oakland with his wife Karen, who is an award-winning professional chocolatier. Kelley’s passion is to make a difference and help others do the same.
