Jyotsna Sanzgiri is an Associate Professor of Organization Development and Education at the Starr King School for the Ministry.
At Starr King School for the Ministry, I teach Organization Development, serve as an academic advisor, and participate in faculty governance.
I hold a Ph.D. in Business Administration from the University of Pittsburgh, and have been teaching in the areas of Organization Theory, Organization Development and Change and International Organizational Behavior since 1972.
I have worked for several academic organizations, such as the University of Pittsburgh, Chatham College, the California School of Professional Psychology. I publish regularly in the areas of transformational organizational change, the reinvention of work, cross-cultural and international research, global leadership. My most recent U.S. publication on Global Organizational Development has appeared in the Fall 2013 issue of the OD Journal. My work has also been published in International Journals such as Vikalpa and The Journal of Human Values.
I continue to present at the National Academy of Management, (especially in the sub-division of Management, Religion and Spirituality), as well as the National Organization Development Conferences. I have been an invited delegate to the International Conference on Psychology and Business in Cape Town, South Africa. I consult with the private and public sectors in the US and South East Asia, and have been honored as one of the ten most influential women in the field of Organization Development by Benedictine University.
In addition, I have served as an external consultant to educational institutions, and to the corporate sector.
In my spare time, I write poetry and short fiction, and am a published creative writer.
