Juliet Chan is very happy to join the staff at Starr King as a remote part time staff member. Juliet has been a Bay Area resident most of her life, with some time spent in London and San Diego as well. She has lived on the Peninsula since 2010 with her husband Victor, their sixteen year old son and their two cats.
Juliet graduated with honors from Cal Poly SLO’s Business Administration School. She brings a background in public and private accounting, marketing and most recently volunteer fundraising, event planning and general administrative work, by serving on the Board of Directors for many local non-profit youth organizations. Juliet is happy to be of service now to students and faculty at Starr King, in a role that will utilize her organizational and communication skills, as well as promote her values of the importance of education, social justice and progressive thinking. In her free time Juliet practices Buddhism and meditation, enjoys reading, travel, cheering her favorite sports teams, and has recently taken up baking with the time she used to spend attending live events (theater, concerts, museums, symphony etc).
