Rev. Mwaambi G Mbûûi is a PhD Theology and Ethics student at the GTU, working at the intersection of constructive African Public Theology, African Philosophy and Liberative Ethics. He thus identifies his integrative theo-ethical approach as a Drumbeat Theology project.
Mbûûi is also an accomplished singer-musician and recording artist, poet, preacher/public speaker and knitter. As such, he’s keen on interrogating the interface of artistic expressions and bold theo-ethical engagement, towards sustainable social transformation. Mbûûi hails from Kenya/East Africa, and is a proud father of 4 daughters. He is a passionate Pan-Africanist with the passionate/deep desire for forging meaningful global alliances, for a healthier and more prosperous “Glocal Village.” Rev. Mbûûi self-identifies as an Afro-Christian, and is the Founding Director of Kilele Africa Ministry.
