Rev. Dr. Rebecca Parker with Amy Moses and Dara Kaufman-LeDonne
Starr King President Rebecca Parker engages in a class discussion with incoming student Amy Moses and returning student Dara Kaufman-LeDonne in the Fireside Room. The incoming Starr King class is one of our most diverse ever. New students range in age from 27 to 80, come from as far away as Iraq, and join us after working in such fields as public-interest law and peace advocacy. Rev. Dr. Parker returned from a yearlong sabbatical (during which she co-wrote a new book, Saving Paradise, with Rita Nakashima-Brock), and offered the convocation message, “Theological Education in a Time of War.”
