Biography

The Rev. Dr. Maria Cristina Vlassidis Burgoa is originally from Chile. She is an ordained Unitarian Universalist Minister and has served UU congregations in Massachusetts, California, and currently serves East Shore Unitarian Church in Bellevue, Washington as their settled Minister. She holds a Th.D. and an M. Div. degree from Harvard Divinity School, and a J.D. from C.U.N.Y Law School, with a specialty in Immigrants’ Rights. Her work focuses on the lived religious experience within the borderlands of Feminist/Latinx/Queer/Two-Spirit/Indigenous Liberation Theylogies.
