The Board of Trustees, Faculty, Staff and Students of Starr King School for the Ministry are pleased to announce the Inauguration of The Rev. Rosemary Bray McNatt as the Seventh President of the School.
Join us for the celebratory event. Inaugural Events begin March 20, 2015. The Installation celebration will be held on March 21, 2015 at the First Unitarian Church of Oakland, CA.

- Keynote by Rev. Dr. Traci C. West, Professor of Ethics and African American Studies at Drew University Theological School

4:00 – 7:00 pm at the Claremont Hotel
- Keynote by Rev. Rosemary Bray McNatt, President of Starr King School for the Ministry
- There will be a cash bar during the banquet.
Rev. Dr. Traci C. West is the James W. Pearsall Professor of Christian Ethics and African American Studies at Drew Theological School. She received her BA from Yale University, her MDiv. from the Pacific School of Religion, and her PhD from Union Theological Seminary. She is the author of Disruptive Christian Ethics: When Racism and Women’s Lives Matter, Wounds of the Spirit: Black Women, Violence, and Resistance Ethics, and the editor of Our Family Values: Same-sex Marriage and Religion. She is an ordained elder in the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist church, is a member of United Methodists of Color for a Fully Inclusive Church, participated in an interfaith clergy delegation to Baghdad, Iraq, and interviewed in the documentary on violence against black women “NO!” and “Breaking Silences: A Supplemental Video to No!” by Aishah Simmons.
