Date/Time
Date(s) - 11/17/2020
11:00 am - 11:45 am
Our daily lives overflow, with beautiful, unthinkable ugly, awe filled moments. These moments are held together with the body aches of sorrows and belly shaking joys. As our day unfolds into night, we may hear ourselves saying, “I wish I had more time.” “Where did this day go?” “There was no time for X, Y and Z. “
“Glimpses, of THAT, which Holds All” is a weekly opportunity to SLOW down, to catch glimpses of your divine being and to catch “Glimpses of THAT which Holds ALL.”
“Glimpses” occurs each Tuesday except for the first Tuesday of every month when SKSM hosts Tuesday Chapel from 10:50 to 11:45. Yes, these drop-in sessions will be via Zoom. Yes everyone… seminarians, alum, community members, family members and allies are warmly invited to drop in. Yes, you are welcome to drop in at any time during the 45 minutes that we are together.
This month we will welcome the waning light and shift our focus to our internal life. Please bring a piece of poetry to share. We will use the poetry to create a multi-religious, contemplative container to hold our reflections.
Flow for November:
11:00 Sound the Singing Bowl 11X (November = 11th month of our year)
11:05 to 11:10 Voices of the Gathered/Candle Lighting (With unmuted mics, each person is invited to name their joys and sorrows and to light candles.)
11:10 to 11:40 Sharing Poetry/Reflections
11:40 to 11:45 Silent Meditation/Prayers
Hope to be with you on Tuesday, November 10, 17 and 24 starting at 11:00am (PT) Please email Pastor Jacqueline Duhart at jduhart@sksm.edu if you have questions or concerns.
