Eid al-Adha (Arabic: عيد الأضحى) commemorates Prophet Abraham’s willingness to sacrifice everything for God, including his son, Ismael. God became impressed with Abraham’s sincerity, and gave him a ram to sacrifice instead. In the Jewish tradition it was Isaac who was offered up.
*It is Islamic tradition to wear your most beautiful clothes for EID. So be creative and dress in a way that honors your traditions.
*Please bring a dish to share, desserts, and drinks. Kids are welcome.
