Please note: The registration procedures on this page are primarily for special students who are NOT enrolled in a degree program at Starr King or other Graduate Theological Union (GTU) school. These registration instructions apply to residential, immersion, intensive, and online courses.
Students enrolled in a degree program at Starr King School (or any other GTU school) should follow the registration processes outlined by their school’s registrar. Starr King’s registration procedures are explained in the 2017-18 Student Handbook.
Starr King registration periods are consistent with the Graduate Theological Union registration periods. See the academic calendar for important dates.
Early registration is strongly recommended as many classes have limited enrollment and fill during early registration period.
Steps to Register for a Course
(for students not matriculated in a SKSM or GTU school degree program).

- Fill out and submit a SKSM Course Registration online form.
- SKSM Course Registration forms are due to the Registrar and payments are due to the Student Accounts Manager by the last day of the registration period.
Please send your tuition payment using your credit card, via Populi, or by mailing a check or money order (See Course Fees for details). Checks or money orders can be made out to

Please note that by necessity, this policy must remain firm. Entrance into courses occurs only upon receipt and processing of the fully-completed Registration form and payment.
